Description Veronica Deno, certified personal trainer, will be available to assist students who want to become more active.  Veronica will work with students to set up programs - all types of activities - and will monitor progress for the month.  Once established and comfortable with activities including cardio, training and weight equipment provided in the athletic centre, students can continue their programs independently.   Sign up in the equipment room or drop in a the above times for the month of January.

Description Tabata Fitness – Designed for Everybody’s Body!
A 4 minute Tabata routine can be done using bodyweight and/or light weight and uses 20 second intervals followed by 10 second rests, to elevate the heart rate and shake up the metabolism.
We complete 6 rounds.  Between each round is a 1 minute rest.It’s fast, effective, fun and a workout that keeps working even after the class is over with.


Kickboxing - Starting Thursday, Jan. 11

Description Using speed, agility and power, kickboxing combines the punches, uper cuts, and hooks of boxing with various powerful kicks used in martia arts.  This class teaches kicks, punches, blocks and other defensive techniques, shadow kickboxing and pad training, as well as cardiovascular and muscular fintess exercises.  No experience necessary.
