Keep track of important dates and deadlines

If you’re applying to programs at Dalhousie, put these dates and deadlines in your calendar. Missing a deadline could mean missing your chance to enroll; ensure you get your application submitted on time.

Other programs and transfer applicants

For undergraduate programs not listed above, where space is available, applications can be considered before the start of classes in September. High school applicants are encouraged to apply early to meet the February 15 deadline for general entrance awards and May 15 guaranteed residence application deadline. 

Transfer applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to take advantage of early class registration in March and have their transcripts reviewed for potential transfer credits before starting classes.

Deadline for entrance scholarship application.

Entrance scholarship offers sent out.

May 1, 2027

Deadline to accept your offer of admission by paying your admission deposit (login required) unless otherwise indcated on your admission letter.

Deadline to accept General Entrance Awards offers.

Deadline to provide proof of English language proficiency.

May 15, 2027

Guaranteed residence application deadline.
