Dalhousie is committed to ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students, staff, faculty, and visitors through various services and resources that support you through challenges inside and outside of the classroom.

In case of a campus emergency

Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service

The Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service (DSAS), run by the Dalhousie Student Union, helps students who have been accused of an academic offence or are dealing with harassment or discrimination. Their advocates can prepare students for hearings and formal appeals, and support them during hearings.

Human Rights and Equity Services

Human Rights and Equity Services (HRES) offers confidential advice and support related to human rights, discrimination, personal harassment and conflict, sexualized violence, equity and inclusion, and accessibility.

Student Health & Wellness

Dalhousie Student Health & Wellness offers health and wellbeing services and resources to all students, including mental health services (counselling, social worker, group wellness sessions), doctor appointments, nursing services, vaccinations, STI testing, and much more. We have clinics in Halifax and Truro.
