Maike van Niekerk, Dal's 90th Rhodes Scholar

Maike van Niekerk becomes our 90th Rhodes Scholar

Maike, a fourth-year Nursing student, has an impressive list of awards and achievements—from receiving the NL Red Cross Young Humanitarian of the Year award to raising over $110,000 for a charity she founded in memory of her mother. Now, she’s the recipient of one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world.
