Meet our 2026 McCall McBain finalists

Dalhousie University congratulates Will Jones and Devarshi Shah, who have been named finalists for the 2026 McCall MacBain Scholarships. They will travel to Montréal for final interviews, with expenses covered by the program.

We also congratulate Jonah Cameron and Lauren Sooksom from the University of King’s College, who were also selected as finalists.

These four students are among 53 finalists chosen from over 700 applicants. The selection process considers academic excellence alongside leadership, character, community engagement, and intellectual curiosity.

Up to 30 scholars will be selected after final interviews. Finalists who are not selected will still receive a $10,000 award toward studies at McGill.
