January 28, 2026 – Deadline for high schools to submit nominations*
February 18, 2026 – Deadline for nominees to submit their application
*Each Canadian high school can nominate one graduating student per year, or four per CEGEP. If your school had a 2025 Schulich Leader, you can nominate two students.
Eligibility
To be considered for a Schulich Leader Scholarship, you must:
- Be a graduate from a Canadian high school or CEGEP
- Be a Canadian citizen
- Plan to enroll in an eligible STEM program at Dalhousie

- Diploma in Engineering
- Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) - BSc (Agriculture), with the following majors:
- Agricultural Business
- Agricultural Economics
- Aquaculture
- Plant Science
- Bachelor of Technology
- Small Business Management
- Bachelor of Computer Science – BCSC, including majors in:
- Software Development
- AI & Machine Learning
- Cloud Computing
- Algorithms
- Networking & Cyber Security
- Graphics & Gaming
- Bachelor of Applied Computer Science – BACSC, including majors in:
- Software Development
- Database Systems
- Web-Centric Computing
- User Interface Design
- Privacy & Security
- Project Management
- Bachelor of Engineering – BENG, and
- Bachelor of Engineering Co-Op – BENG, including majors in:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Science – BSc, including:
- Chemistry Co-op
- Economics Co-op
- Integrated Science Program (first-year option)

Successful nominees will receive an email from Schulich Leader Scholarships with a link to an online application.
