Student Guide

In the Registrar's Office Student Guide you'll find out more information about our services, key academic policies relevant to your degree, and you can get to know our team of academic advisors.

This guide is written for students, with the input of students, so you can be sure that the information in there is relevant to you. View the guide below or download here:

Some highlights from the 2020 guide:

  1. Information about our new academic waiver process. This year, we’re pleased to launch a streamlined, fully online academic waiver process, which gives students the ability to request and check on progress of an academic waiver through DalOnline.
  2. Information about exams for fall 2020 – transitioning to online learning for most courses in fall 2020 means we’ve had to change how we manage exams and tests. You can find information about how we’re approaching this in the student guide.
We hope you find this resource useful as we move into the new academic year. If you have any questions or would like to speak to someone in the Registrar’s Office about our processes, please do not hesitate to reach out.
