Help Desk

 

Report any problems or concerns about software, equipment or facilities to our staff. An immediate response is provided by contacting the Student Helpdesk in C17 in person or by calling 893-6308. The main IT Helpdesk can be reached by calling 893-6154. ITS will respond to email directed to helpdesk.dalac@dal.ca.

Hours of Operation

IT Services is available Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

After Hours Problem Reporting: (to report the following outside of normal business hours)

  • Server outage
  • Network outage
  • Desktop/Email virus
  • Password Expiry
  • Security intrusion

Call the Help Desk in Halifax (494-2376 or 1-800-869-3931) to report the problem. They will attempt to resolve the issue or, if necessary, will escalate the problem to on-call personnel. Any outstanding non-urgent issues will be forwarded to the Agricultural Campus IT staff for resolution during business hours.
