Program options
Dalhousie's Pathology MSc is offered as a research‑focused, thesis‑based program with full‑time study.
Students complete original research under faculty supervision and write and defend a thesis. The program does not include course‑based, practicum, internship, or study‑abroad options.
All graduate programs at Dalhousie are collaboratively delivered by a home Faculty and the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Admission requirements
You'll need to meet the Faculty of Graduate Studies minimum requirements as well as any program-specific admission requirements before you can apply.
The deadline to apply for this program is
For September start: April 1 for non-Canadians and June 1 for Canadians
For January start: August 31 for non-Canadians and October 31 for Canadians
For May start: December 31 for non-Canadians and February 28 for Canadians
Program-specific requirements
This program requires you to meet the following criteria:
- An honours undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- A confirmed faculty supervisor in the Department of Pathology.
This program follows the Faculty of Graduate Studies English language proficiency requirements.
