Distance students, faculty, and staff

Access your DalCard virtual ID

Distance students, as well as faculty and staff on campuses outside of Halifax and Truro, have access to their DalCard digitally using our app.

This allows access to a DalCard that includes a photo, as previous physical distance cards did not include one. Physical cards will no longer be provided.

Tips for setting up the app

If you have not submitted a photo, you will not be able to access your DalCard on the app.
