The Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science prides itself on providing graduate students with cutting-edge, world-class research opportunities in a collegial environment.

In addition to our graduate programs in physics and atmospheric science, we also offer graduate seminars that bring in a variety of speakers to complement students’ learning experience.

To be considered for either a MSc or PhD program in Physics and Atmospheric Science, a minimum requirement for graduate program admissions is a GPA of 3.7. We recommend that applicants begin with the online pre-application form.
