Grades
Grades are used to determine your status in your degree program, to allocate awards and other honours and will be considered by graduate schools, prospective employers and others.
Academic standing
Your academic standing shows how you’re doing in your program. It’s based on your grades and GPA and helps determine if you’re in good standing or need support.
Appeals and waivers
During your time at Dal, you might need to request an exception to an academic rule or have one of your grades reassessed.
Transcripts
Transcripts are an official copy of your academic record. They include all courses you’ve taken, the grades you earned, your GPA, and any degrees or credentials awarded.
Letters and confirmations
You can request the following letters and confirmations from Dal:
- Confirmation of enrolment
- Confirmation of degree awarded
- Confirmation of language of instruction
- Post-graduate work permit letter
- Custom Letter
