Applying to Dalhousie's undergraduate programs
For students whose CAPE / CSEC exams have been delayed until June 28 to July 30, 2021, Dalhousie will honour existing offers that have been made to students in this situation.
For those who have not yet received an admission decision, with the planned release of exam results being planned for late September/early October (which is after the start of Dalhousie’s fall term) we recommend deferring your application to the next available start date (see www.dal.ca/defer)
For students whose IGCSE or IB exams have been cancelled, your file will be assessed using the course grades established in place of exam results. Applications will not be affected.
CBSE Class 12 exams have been cancelled for Summer 2021. Students with existing Dalhousie offers for Fall 2021 will not be affected. Applicants who do not yet have a Dalhousie offer will be assessed using the course grades established in place of their exam results. For those who have not yet received an admission decision, please watch for updates on this page or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
International applicants must meet our general admission requirements and English language requirements. Each undergraduate program has a minimum overall average that you must meet to be considered for admission.
Your average is calculated using the required courses for your program of choice. The courses that satisfy the requirements will depend on your home country’s curriculum.
Admission into many undergraduate programs is competitive and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. If you don’t currently meet these requirements, you may be eligible for one of our upgrading or pathway programs.
Future areas of study
