Level Chan is a partner in the Labour and Employment Group of Stewart McKelvey. His practice focuses on pensions, employee benefits and executive compensation, with expertise on matters including plan administration, investment, and equity and incentive plans.

Level is also an Officer, Executive Member and Advocacy and Governmental Relations Committee Co-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s (CBA) National Pension and Benefits Law Section and a member of the Racial Equity Committee of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society. His previous leadership roles include Chair of the Atlantic Regional Council of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute and National Equality Committee Chair and member of the Board of Directors of the CBA. Level is also a member of the Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM). Lexpert recognized Level as a Rising Star: Leading Lawyer Under 40 in 2016.

In addition to his law practice, Level is an active and keen supporter of the Atlantic Region and has held board and leadership roles in community organizations such as the Halifax Chamber of Commerce, FUSION Halifax and the Dalhousie Alumni Association. Level is also a past recipient of the Dalhousie Board of Governors’ Award and previously served on the Board of Governors as a student and as an alumni representative.
