Retrospective: 50 Years of Writing Centre Work

Beginning as the Dalhousie Writing Workshop, the Writing Centre is a place where Dalhousie students have been coming to develop their academic writing skills since the early 1970s. Starting in the former Faculty of Education and now located in the Killam Library, times and practices have certainly changed, but the Writing Centre continues to be a welcoming place of support for students and their writing. We look forward to celebrating a 50-year retrospective with current and former staff and tutors in the new academic year!
