At Dalhousie, most undergraduate programs charge tuition per course, not per program.

How to read the tuition schedule
- Faculty: Find your Faculty or program in the list.
- Rate per:
- Billing hour: The cost of each credit hour.
- Course: Each course = 3 billing hours
- Term: Based on a typical full course load (5 courses = 15 billing hours)
- Auxiliary fees: Program-specific costs not covered by course fees.
- Society fees: Student society contributions.
- Mandatory incidental fees: Fees are broken down between fall and winter terms. Get detailed fee information.
- Terms: Shows estimated fees for a full-time domestic student, and payment due dates.
Below the fee schedule table, you will see a breakdown of international tuition fees (for students who started prior to Fall 2023), and further explanations of mandatory and auxiliary fees.

Your total tuition depends on several factors, including:

- Your program and faculty
- Any additional or optional fees
Because of this, your total amount owing isn’t confirmed until you complete your course registration.
Once your fees are assessed, you can view your full balance in your student account.
