This flexible degree allows you to fuse individual interests with management skills in a creative, practical and professional capacity. You'll have the option of graduating with a general management degree or declaring a major in one of seven major options.

Your first two years are dedicated to core courses in Management Issues, Accounting, Marketing, Environmental Management, Government Structure, Knowledge Management, Economics and Statistics. In your third and fourth years, you'll choose electives to tailor your degree to your strengths and interests. Choose from one of five majors below to focus on your area of interest, or stay flexible by doing a general Bachelor of Management degree without a major.

Note: Admission to the Management & Globalization Major is suspended. The program will continue to be delivered to any current students until all students have graduated, or the time allowed for program completion has elapsed, or all students have left the program.
Note: Sustainable Resources and Environmental Management and Environment, Sustainability and Society are now combined into one Major option. Please contact Academic Advising or your department head for more details.

Intercultural Communication Certificate

This certificate recognizes academic learning, volunteer and work experience, and language skills related to the effective use of communication in diverse cultural contexts, an important skill set needed for career development in a global market. With this certificate you will learn about the breadth of study that is connected with health: social, psychological, physical and spiritual influences on health and avenues for social, physical and political change, while developing essential information gathering, management, analysis, interpretation and communication skills. Certificate in Disability Management

As a graduate of the Dalhousie Certificate in Disability Management you will be eligible to work in the field of disability management, and once you gain some work  experience, to apply for voluntary national certification exams. For aspiring human resource professionals, this specialized certificate will provide you with the tools and confidence to negotiate new hires and develop return-to-work plans for employees with accommodation needs.
