Overview

The Biological Engineering Program at Dalhousie University offers a variety of fields--biological waste management, biorobotics, agricultural engineering, aquacultural engineering, food processing engineering, renewable energy, energy conservation in greenhouses, and pollution control. The MASc and PhD degrees involve a research thesis and four courses plus a graduate seminar. The MEng degree is a Professional Engineering degree that requires either five more courses than the MASc degree plus a graduate seminar, or three more courses than the MASc degree plus a graduate seminar and a project.
