The Dalhousie Art Gallery, established in 1953, is Nova Scotia's oldest public art gallery, renowned for its exceptional exhibitions, research, publications, and distinguished visiting speakers. Situated on the lower level of the Dalhousie Arts Centre in Halifax, the gallery offers free admission to all visitors. Its permanent collection encompasses over 1,000 works, including outdoor sculptures like the notable "Marine Venus." The gallery also provides educational tours for diverse groups, fostering engagement with the visual arts within the university and the broader community.
