About this resource

The Faculty of Agriculture is home to the Bicentennial Botanical Garden, named in honour of Dalhousie’s 200th anniversary in 2018 and known as the Faculty of Agriculture’s largest classroom, providing many hands-on learning opportunities for students and researchers alike.

Boasting nearly 11 hectares of extensive plant collections, the gardens are home to:

   - A rock garden
   - A pollinator meadow
   - The Alumni Gardens
   - A chef’s and herb garden

Yellow flowers with dark centers and green leaves, set in a field. The focus is on the foreground blooms while the background is slightly blurred.
