Dalhousie's Exchange Coordinators are now hosting a virtual drop-in space on Microsoft Teams for any students (either Dal students going on an exchange/studying abroad, or international students visiting Dal on exchange) who have questions or need help with their exchange/study abroad experiences. The space will be available from Monday to Friday, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (Atlantic Time). Note: This is a public space, so all posts/questions can be viewed by any student who joins the space.
Booking an appointment:
Inbound Students: If you want to come to Dalhousie for a study abroad opportunity, or if you are a current inbound student and want to book a meeting, please book with Mandy Morgan, Exchange Coordinator
Outbound Students: If you have been already nominated to go on study abroad and would like to book an appointment, please book with David Rodriguez, Exchange Advisor
Prospective Students: If you would like to apply to go on study abroad for the first time, please email exchanges@dal.ca to book a meeting with one of our student assistants.
In case of an emergency while abroad
An emergency situation is any situation that puts a student at risk. It might be illness, violent incidents, a student going missing, civil unrest, or a natural disaster in the host country. Most problems can be solved by your host university—seek solutions before contacting Dalhousie.
