Student Loan Support Services
Loans & Schedule 2’s are eligible to be signed a week prior the start of the term. Most loans are processed electronically through Provincial and National portals. Once they are confirmed and sent to Dalhousie, it can take 3-5 days before we can see them and another 5-7 days for processing due to volume. Keep an eye on your provincial loan portal for updates.
To avoid unnecessary delay, ensure that you are enrolled full-time for Fall and Winter if you have a full-time loan.
In-Person and virtual appointments are available for all other loan related inquiries.

Students requiring urgent same day transcripts (fee) can make an appointment. All other students should request transcripts online with further details available here.
Confirmation of Enrolment
A general confirmation of enrolment document is available on-demand via Dal Online under ‘Web for Students’ and ‘Student Records’. Should you need a specialized letter, you can complete the form found here and either book an appointment to have it completed in-person, or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org for processing. Please note that the Faculty of Graduate Studies would complete all requests for Master’s and PhD students.
For documents requiring confirmation of enrolment in the form of signature or stamp, such as RESP or CPP forms, they can be submitted online to email@example.com or an appointment can be booked. Please note we are unable to process CPP forms until September 7th.
For complex registration issues, add/drop form processing, and more, immediate assistance is available via chat and phone, however, appointments can also be booked.
Any questions related to academic advising or scheduling planning should be directed to your designated advisor.
Letter of Permission Support
Students requiring letter of permission support should book an appointment. You may also choose to complete letter of permission request form and submit to firstname.lastname@example.org without an appointment.
Student Account Payments
Most payments can be submitted online, with further information available here. Appointments are only available for students who require in-person support.
Appointments are available for either the pick-up of a Dalcard or Dalcard related issues, such as replacement cards (fee), loading funds, UPass or other issues. For all cards, photos must be submitted in advance as outlined here.
For all other items that do not fall into the categories above, before booking, please use the chat tool or contact us at 902-494-2450 to see if we may be able to provide immediate support without an appointment.
For Faculty and Staff needing support, we are available Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm by phone 902-494-2450 and chat. Should you need in-person assistance you can book an appointment using the 'Other' category at any of service locations.
