MBA + Your Degree: Science
Each year we welcome to the Corporate Residency MBA students with backgrounds in biology, physics, chemistry, environmental science, computer science, psychology, earth sciences, math and economics. Often they are surprised to learn that an MBA can be such a great complement to their background in science. The opportunity to add knowledge and competencies related to business management can position them to launch careers that leverage both skill sets.
Your skills
Our employer partners find that science students bring a number of talents to the workplace: quantitative analysis, research skills, exceptional focus and an attention to detail, understanding of complex systems and an ability to communicate complicated scientific concepts to non-experts. Additionally, our students with science degrees are inquisitive and bring a fresh perspective to problem solving. There are many courses in a science undergrad that will prepare you for success in the Corporate Residency MBA program and in the workplace.
