MusGo Rider provides door-to-door, pre-booked transportation connecting residents of the Eastern Shore with destinations within our community and Metro Transit.
The introduction of the Metro X from Porters Lake will give students the opportunity to continue living at home while attending classes. Employees of the university can spend their commuting time relaxing, reading or catching a nap!

Halifax Campuses
Tiger Patrol
The Tiger Patrol service is available to all students, faculty, and staff of Dalhousie University on the Halifax Campuses, where your DalCard serves as the boarding pass. There are two shuttle vans and each has the capacity for five passengers.

Commuter Shuttle
Dalhousie has partnered with the Inter-Institutional Organization of Halifax to investigate the feasibility of offering an express commuter shuttle service to students, faculty, and staff.

Colchester Transportation
Colchester Transportation is a door-to-door service offered at request to travel from work to school on a regular basis. This service is offered from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm on Weekdays. To request a ride call 896-7433 and provide at least 24 hours service. This service can be booked for regular use. Users can be billed for each trip or on a monthly bases based on usage.

Via Rail
There is a Via Rail station located in the Truro Centre at 104 Esplanade Street. Take the train from Halifax to Truro!
Please note train operating dates vary by date and time. The train is not available everyday of the week.
Take a Bus!
Maritime Bus
Maritime Bus runs from Halifax to Truro daily. Take the bus from Truro to Halifax round-trip to arrive at meetings and classes.
