At Dalhousie, we:  

  • Reduce extra or inefficient fleet vehicles through downsizing or right sizing;
  • Install GPS units in vehicles to support fuel efficient driving and safety;
  • Purchase vehicles that are low-emitting and fuel efficient. 
  • Support a workplace agreement with Communeauto Atlantic;
  • Are moving toward more hybrids and electric vehicles;
  • Have electric car charging stations on campus;
  • Support bicycles where applicable as a fleet vehicle.
