Dalhousie releases progress reports

In 2010, the Office of Sustainability obtained approval for a ten year Operational Sustainability Plan for the University [PDF - 389KB].The first Sustainability Progress Report for the University 2010-2013 is available here [PDF - 8MB]. The second Sustainability Progress Report for the University 2014-2017 is available here [PDF - 8KB]. Public progress reports are released every fourth year.

Dalhousie is a STARS participant

Dalhousie University is a registered participant in STARS (Sustainability, Tracking, Assessment & Rating System). STARS is administered by AASHE (Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education).

AASHE’s STARS program involves publicly reporting comprehensive information related to a college or university’s sustainability performance. Dalhousie is a Charter participant submitting the first STARS report in 2011, where a silver rating was achieved. In January 2015, the Version 2.0 STARS report was submitted and a gold rating was awarded. The Version 2.1 STARS report was submitted in April 2018. Dalhousie received a gold rating. Ratings are valid for three years. The following documents are included as part of the Version 2.1 submission:
