When to speak to an advisor

Our Enrolment Service staff is available by chat, phone, and email to offer you guidance and support.

We also have a number of Registrar's Office advisors on hand who are ready to meet with you should you require an advising session. If you're uncertain about whether your question requires an appointment with an advisor, please expand on the menu options below to determine whether your issue meets the appointment criteria.

If you're still not sure whether you need an appointment, connect via chat, phone, or email. An enrolment services representative will be in touch to answer your question or make alternate arrangements.

      Enrolment Services Centre - Sexton Campus

      Student Loan Support Services

      Loans & Schedule 2’s are only eligible to be signed beginning August 24th. Once we can sign these documents, it may take 7-10 days to have processed due to volume. Keep an eye on your provincial loan portal for updates. To avoid unnecessary delay, ensure that you are enrolled full-time for Fall & Winter if you have a full-time loan.       Transcript Services

      Students requiring urgent same day transcripts can make an appointment. All other students should request transcripts online with further details available here.

      Confirmation of Enrolment

      NEW – Many confirmation of enrolment documents are now available on-demand via Dal Online under ‘Web for Students’ and ‘Student Records’ These include required documents for study permit renewal, post-graduate work permit, and confirmation of graduation. Should you need a specialized letter, please connect with us through chat or by phone to confirm to ensure you are following the fastest process to complete your request.

      For documents requiring confirmation of enrolment in the form of signature or stamp, such as RESP or CPP forms, they can be submitted online to frontcounter@dal.ca or an appointment can be booked. Please note we are unable to process CPP forms until September 7th.

      Registration Support

      For complex registration issues, add/drop form processing, and more, immediate assistance is available via chat and phone, however, appointments can also be booked. Any questions related to academic advising or scheduling planning should be directed to your designated advisor.

      Letter of Permission Support

      Students requiring a Fall term letter of permission should book an appointment. You may also choose to complete letter of permission request form and submit to lop@dal.ca without an appointment

      Student Account Payments

      Most payments can be submitted online, with further information available here. Appointments are only available for students who require in-person support.

      Dalcard Support

      Appointments are available for either the pick-up of a Dalcard or Dalcard related issues, such as replacement cards, loading funds, UPass or other issues. For all cards, photos must be submitted in advance as outlined here. Please note that pick-up for Dalcard’s with photos submitted up to August 27 is on the main campus at the Dalcard office
