Courses

The Department of Chemistry offers core chemistry courses and higher level modular courses.

Core courses constitute the main framework of formal course work. These courses are more broadly based and ensure adequacy in a student’s background.

Modular courses are six weeks and are a higher level. These courses provide the opportunity for in-depth study of topics more closely related to a student's research area. The department offers these courses based on the need and interest of the students.
