Admission to our program is competitive. Having the minimum requirements for our program does not guarantee acceptance.
- Applicants must hold a degree recognized by Dalhousie University as the equivalent of a four-year bachelor’s degree in one of its own faculties or an institution recognized by Dalhousie University.
- The minimum requirement is a B average (GPA 3.0 on a 4.3 scale).
- Applicants must have at least five years of relevant professional experience.
Regulations of the Faculty of Graduate Studies govern admissions. Admission is approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies, on the recommendation of the Rowe School of Business.
We do accept a limited number of applications from people without a university degree. A minimum of ten years of relevant management experience may be acceptable. When considering your application, we will pay particular attention to analytical skills and competencies relevant to advanced graduate-level study.
If you choose to apply without a degree, you will need to create a portfolio of the learning you have achieved through formal education or training, workplace experience or other activities. Please note that we assess applicants without a bachelor’s degree on a case-by-case basis.
