Certificate in Adult Learning Fundamentals

Advanced Certificate in Adult Learning and Teaching

To enrol in this certificate, you must first complete the Certificate in Adult Learning Fundamentals. Three additional electives are required in order to achieve the Advanced Certificate in Adult Learning and Teaching. You may choose three of the following courses:

Our three-course Certificate in Lean Six Sigma is now offered as a training option only for your organization (individual registrations are no longer accepted). 

This certificate will provide you with an advanced set of quality tools to be applied in a structured way to improve your organization’s processes and the services or products produced by those processes. You will learn to lead projects using the DMAIC (Define | Measure | Analyze | Improve | Control) methodology. A full description of the certificate and three courses can be found here

The Certificate in Lean Six Sigma can be delivered as is, or customized for your organization – it's up to you.  The training also includes an optional coaching package.

Our Transition Year Program (TYP) was established in 1970 with the goal of increasing the successful participation of Black and Indigenous students at Dalhousie University.

This eight-monh program is designed to prepare students for all aspects of academic life. Students receive university credit for TYP courses.
