Internationalization is a key priority for Dalhousie University. In collaboration with Dalhousie academic and administrative units, the Office of International Relations:
- Provides leadership to the university in the development and deployment of Dalhousie's International Strategy
- Supports the development of over 300 partnership agreements with universities from nearly 70 countries, which are available to explore on our searchable database
- Develops protocols and coordinates international institutional delegation visits to Dalhousie
- Develops protocols and coordinates Dalhousie delegation visits abroad
- Identifies and communicates opportunities for international collaboration
- Facilitates institutional relationships
- Develops criteria and reviews processes for international agreements
International highlights
Go Beyond Borders - new student bursary for study abroad!
Through funding from the Provost & Vice-President Academic, the Office of International Relations has established a new student bursary. The Go Beyond Borders bursary ($1500) will be available as of January 2018. To apply, students will continue to submit the funding application available on the International Centre website. Applications will be reviewed and bursaries will be awarded on a monthly basis.
