Matt Proctor (he/him) joined Dalhousie in late 2019 as assistant vice-president, communications, marketing, and creative services (CMC). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Mount Allison University, a Master of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and is a Six Sigma certified green belt.

Prior to joining Dalhousie, Matt held leadership roles in consumer-packaged goods, telecommunications, and the healthcare sector. A progressive, people-focused team player, Matt leads with compassion and a tremendous sense of pride in Dalhousie and its impact on our community, our province, the region, and the world.

On the volunteer side, Matt spent eight years as a board member of Alternative Residences, a non-profit organization that provides housing and support services to those with mental health challenges in the greater Moncton area.

Matt finds great fulfillment in supporting team members’ growth, the advancement of our Atlantic region, and celebrating Dalhousie as a place that offers an ocean of opportunity.
