Scholarships

Many Scholarship and Bursaries are offered to Social Work students. Most are awarded annually, unless otherwise stated. Before applying for these awards, please be advised that there are some restrictions. Please note that only successful awardees will be notified.

The application deadline for all scholarships, bursaries and awards offered via the application process is OCTOBER 15th annuallyPlease submit your application/s via email to linda.power@dal.ca.

Joan Cummings Memorial Award Based on enrollment in the Master of Social Work program, good standing and the promise of leadership and service. Preference will be given to a student with a (dis)Ability whose engagement in (dis)Ability scholarship will be evident within the school and community.
