The institute advances interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary scholarship across STEM, integrating scientific and humanities perspectives to create new knowledge. It is the first Black Studies STEM-focused institute in Atlantic Canada.

The Centre for Transformative Nursing and Health Research is a nursing-led, interprofessional Dalhousie research centre advancing collaboration, capacity-building and transformative research to promote health, wellbeing and innovative care.

ICG is a Dalhousie University Institute comprised of researchers and trainees in four faculties: Medicine, Science, Computer Science and Agriculture.

MicroResearch builds community research capacity by training and supporting multidisciplinary local community teams to conduct locally relevant health research - fostering inquiry, reducing barriers, and empowering participants to address priority health challenges.

The CSSD is a multi-disciplinary hub for collaborative research and public outreach on international security and development policy and practice. It is anchored in the Political Science department, but draws on contributions from other Dalhousie faculties and departments.

The Centre for Jewish Studies is Atlantic Canada's first academic unit dedicated to the study of Judaism. It brings together scholars of Jewish cultures and history with expertise in antiquity, languages, social theory, and philosophical and religious thought. Our research emphasizes cultural exchange, diverse perspectives, and creative adaptation both across Jewish cultures and scholarships.

The Dalhousie Health Justice Institute seeks to understand, use and adapt law and policy to improve health and well-being through scholarship, education and public service.

The JMEUCE promotes academic, networking and outreach activities to enhance understanding of the European Union and EU–Canada relations, with particular focus on implications for Atlantic Canada.

CRSSCA, located at Dalhousie's Faculty of Management, is the supply chain research hub for Eastern Canada, focusing on business, sustainability, and analytical solutions.

DeepSense delivers advanced AI solutions for industry partners while training students through real-world projects, strengthening workforce readiness, business innovation and long-term collaboration.
