The unique partnership, co-led and co-developed by MUN and ICC Canada, will help advance the governance of Arctic shipping in Canada.
A two-day hybrid workshop was held November 3-4, 2022 at the Duke Conference Facility in Washington, DC to advance the theory and practice of dynamic ocean management.
The purpose of the workshop was to consider current and emerging practices of area-based management to mitigate the risks and impacts of shipping in Canada, and to learn from theory, research, and the experiences of practitioners, especially those of Indigenous rights-holders.
On May 10, 2022, academics, advocates, researchers, and stakeholders came together to exchange on the themes of nonhuman animal well-being, environment and climate, and Indigenous interests with respect to both land and water-based intensive animal farming.
Professor Jodi Lazare teamed up with Petroglyph Comics to turn her research on Canadian ag-gag legislation into a comic, accessible to all.
