Three alumni named to Canadian Lawyer's 2013 "25 Most Influential" list

Recognizing Canada's most influential lawyers

This week, Canadian Lawyer released its "Top 25 Most Influential" list. The list highlights lawyers who have been influential within the profession as well as Canadian society over the last 18 months.

We are delighted to congratulate three alumni named to this year's list:

  • Corporate-Commercial: David Fraser (LLB '99)
  • Criminal/Human Rights Law: Senator Donald Oliver, QC (LLB '64)
  • Government/Non-Profit/Associations: Jack Innes (LLB '69) and The Honourable Howard Wetston, QC (LLB '74)

Now in its fourth year, Canadian Lawyer's "Top 25 Most Influential List", says editor Gail Cohen: "Is about a level of respect, the ability to influence public opinion, and help shape the laws of this country [and is about] contribution to the strength and quality of legal services, and social and political influence and involvement."
