Third year Dalhousie University nursing student, Maike van Niekerk, will be speaking at the next TEDxDalhousieU taking place on Sunday March 13, 2016 at Dalhousie University. Maike has been selected as one of Canada’s 2015 Top 20 Under 20. She has a growing list of achievements from receiving the Humanitarian of the Year award to raising over $100,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of her mother who lost her life to breast cancer. Maike is a wonderful example of the next generation of nursing leaders.
