We are very proud of our student's accomplishments this year. They went above and beyond and they are certainly making a difference!
Here are some of the highlights from the Canadian Nursing Students Assocation (CNSA) 2016 National Conference in Sault Saint Marie, ON
- Dalhousie School of Nursing students received the Atlantic Regional Achievement Award for their dedication to providing activities for students during National Nursing Students Week and for their hard work organizing the next regional conference.
- Dalhousie School of Nursing students were awarded first prize in the video contest for National Nursing Students Week
- Two of our students, Sheren Anwar Siani and Leah Carrier, were elected to the Board of Directors. Sheren elected as Vice-President and Leah as Atlantic Regional Director.
- Kyle Warkentin was the Atlantic Canada student representative for the National Team Debate for supervised injection sites at the CNSA national conference.
- Leah Carrier was awarded the Canadian Association of Nursing Research award for the best abstract submission in the scholarly showcase.
