Dr. Andrea Bishop is a Postdoctoral Fellowship working with Dr. Janet Curran as part of her funded research program. Dr. Bishop completed her ID PhD at Dalhousie University exploring patient engagement in patient safety.
Her PhD work was funded by a CIHR Doctoral Award and a NSHRF Studentship. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Saint Mary’s University with Dr. Mark Fleming before joining us at the School of Nursing. Andrea’s research interests include transitions of care and patient engagement in care.
She will be developing expertise in knowledge translation research methods during her two-year postdoctoral work with the Strengthening Transitions in Pediatric Care Research Program.
