On June 11, 2026, graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Arctic Nursing) Program celebrated the successful completion of their studies during a graduation ceremony at Nunavut Arctic College. The event recognized the graduates' dedication, resilience, and commitment to improving the health and well-being of the communities they will serve.

Representing Dalhousie University's School of Nursing, Dr. Ruth Martin-Misener, Director of the School of Nursing, and Professor Shauna Houk, Coordinator of the BScN Arctic Nursing Program, attended the ceremony to celebrate this important milestone alongside graduates, their families, friends, faculty, and community members.

The BScN (Arctic Nursing) Program is delivered through a partnership between Dalhousie University and Nunavut Arctic College, providing students with the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Arctic Nursing) while preparing to deliver high-quality, culturally responsive care in northern and Indigenous communities.
