Research Interests

My primary research interest is applied statistical analysis (i.e., the application and teaching of statistical methods). My research has mostly focused on personality as a predictor of well-being and symptoms of psychopathology. I focus on two key areas: (a) Perfectionism as a predictor of mood problems and well-being; and (b) personality traits and motivations as risk and protective factors for alcohol misuse. In the future, I am interested in ways to improve statistics education and producing tutorial materials for various statistical methods.
