Dr. Moore has a longstanding interest in the development of social understanding and social behaviour in early childhood.  His work has covered phenomena such as theory of mind, mental state language, joint attention, self-recognition, and future-oriented decision-making.  Recently, his research group has studied the early development of prosocial behaviours such as sharing.  HIs current focus is on charting moral development through childhood.
