Each year, the Dalhousie Impact Awards recognize outstanding student leaders for their contributions to the community. This year, nine Dal Health students walked away from the March 22nd ceremony with honours, and we couldn't be prouder!
After the devastating effects of the Halifax Explosion, the need for public health nursing expertise became a priority. In 1920, Dalhousie University offered the first Canadian program in public health nursing for graduate students.
In 2013, the Faculty of Health Professions launched the Employee Milestone Recognition Program to acknowledge the significant contributions of our faculty and staff. The Milestone Recognition Awards recognize employees with 10 and 20 years of continuous service with the Faculty.
