At Dalhousie, students benefit from our unique approach to an engineering education. Renowned for innovations in education, the undergraduate engineering curricula at Dal provides a sound basis in Mathematics, Engineering Science and Design as well as pure Science. These skills are the foundation for success in any engineering career.
Whether you are almost ready to graduate high-school, are looking to transfer to Dal or start university as a mature student - knowing what is required to start your academic journey to become an Engineer, is only the beginning of your time at Dalhousie.
The first two years of your Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) will fulfill the requirements to apply for a Diploma of Engineering. Your third year will mark your transition into your discipline - which you can choose to partner with co-operative education. You can also combine programs (BA, BSc or BCS) with your BEng. With multiple options, students can make the most of their time within the Faculty of Engineering as well as the Dalhousie Community.
