Career Development
The Schulich School of Law has its own in-house Career Development Office, which works with students and law firms all over the country.
The Career Development Office team meets with every first-year student in the first few months of law school to get to know you, let you know how they can help you, and get you thinking about the type of legal work you might eventually want to do.
The Career Development Office can help with reviewing resumes, finding articling positions and summer jobs, and following up with assistance to help our grads find permanent employment in their chosen field.
Our graduates work all over Canada and internationally in a broad array of career options, from big city firms to small rural practices, from federal politics to grass-roots activism, from public policy to social justice, and in many non-legal careers as well such as in business, media, real estate, and consulting.
