Combined Degree Programs
Combine your law degree with a Masters degree
The law school, in conjunction with several other faculties, offers four combined degree programs. Students intending to apply to any of the joint programs should inquire directly to the Registrar's Office, Dalhousie University.
Achieve your career goals faster
Our long-standing partnerships with four other Dal schools mean you can complete your Juris Doctor (JD) and a specialist Masters degree at the same time—the perfect balance between education and application.
Meanwhile, these combined degrees also save you some of the time it would take you to complete both degrees separately.
• JD and Master of Business Administration
The JD/MBA program allows students to complete the Juris Doctor degree and the Master of Business Administration in four years instead of the five that would be required to take the degrees separately.
• JD and Master of Health Administration
The JD/MHA program allows you to complete the Juris Doctor degree and the Master of Health Administration degree in four years instead of the five that would be required to take the degrees separately.
• JD and Master of Information
The JD/MI program allows you to complete the Juris Doctor degree and the Master of Information degree in four years instead of the five that would be required to take the degrees separately.
• JD and Master of Public Administration
The JD/MPA allows you to complete the Juris Doctor degree and the Master of Public Administration degree in four years instead of the five that would be required to take the degrees separately.
