There is no better time at a University than convocation day! Graduates are excited and hopeful about their future. Parents and other supporters wear pride on their sleeves like newly minted badges! Emotions of happiness, hopefulness and relief buoy the day with an energy not easily replicated.

After the University ceremony, graduates and their families are invited to what has become a long-standing tradition in the Faculty of Architecture and Planning – the Convocation tea.

The tea is a special time for Faculty, staff, alumni supporters and members of the community to all gather and demonstrate pride for what the students have accomplished on their road to this day.

Students are presented with a variety of awards from various alumni supporters and associations, without which we would not be able to provide the high level of quality education that we do.
