The School of Planning celebrates World Earth Day
Earth Day is recognized as the largest civic event in the world. Since 1970, many important environmental events have happened, including the recent signing of the Paris Agreement and a global climate summit on Earth Day 2021. As the world turns to climate action, the Dalhousie School of Planning contributes locally and aims to foster and inspire planning for resilient, equitable and smart communities.

Dalhousie School of Architecture presents first pan‑Canada lecture series
The Canadian Council of University Schools of Architecture (CCUSA) has initiated its first pan-Canada lecture series in response to COVID-related restrictions on traveling and large gatherings, inviting students and practitioners across the country to join the conversation.

Architecture and Planning launches online story map as part of 200th celebration!
Dr. Eric Rapaport, Associate Professor with Dalhousie’s School of Planning, assisted by alumni of the School of Planning and community partners, developed an online story map to illustrate the evolution of Dalhousie’s built form as seen through both Halifax campuses.
