We are here to support students in-person by appointment. Please select a service below for descriptions and more detailed information. 

Student Loan Support Services

Loans & Schedule 2’s are eligible to be signed a week prior the start of the term. Most loans are processed electronically through Provincial and National portals.  Once they are confirmed and sent to Dalhousie, it can take 3-5 days before we can see them and another 5-7 days for processing due to volume. Keep an eye on your provincial loan portal for updates. 

To avoid unnecessary delay, ensure that you are enrolled full-time for Fall and Winter if you have a full-time loan.

In-person and virtual appointments are available for all other loan related inquiries.

Transcript Services

Students requiring urgent same day transcripts (fee) can make an appointment. All other students should request transcripts online with further details available here

The following official letters can be requested through Dal Online:
 

Confirmation of Enrolment
Confirmation of Degree Awarded
Confirmation of Language of Instruction
Post-Graduate Work Permit Letter
Custom Letter

Note: There are two options for forms requiring signature or stamp:

  1. Submit via e-mail to frontcounter@dal.ca 
  2. In-person by appointment 

We are able to start process CPP forms on the first day of classes each semester.

Registration Support

For complex registration issues, add/drop form processing, and more, immediate assistance is available via chat and phone, however, appointments can also be booked.

Any questions related to academic advising or scheduling planning should be directed to your designated advisor.

Letter of Permission Support

Students requiring letter of permission support should book an appointment. You may also choose to complete letter of permission request form and submit to lop@dal.ca without an appointment.
