New this summer! The ITS website and ITS pages on myDal have been completely updated to be more informative, check us out on myDal!
- Need help with your computer-related questions - call, click or walk in to the Help Desk.
- myDal is Dalhousie's intranet. Everything a user needs in one convenient location. It provides access to Office 365 services (e.g. email, calendar, OneDrive, etc.), news, events, classified ads, quick links to common services (e.g. Brightspace, DalOnline, Banner, Famis, Campus Bookings) and much more. Visit myDal (NetID and password required).
- Know and understand Dalhousie's Acceptable Use Policy. Students and employees need to be aware of what is appropriate and inappropriate use of university network and computing resources.
- Newly introduced this year! Information Security Classification Standards and Electronic Information Storage Guidelines. Managing and protecting University Information is everyone's responsibility. Need assistance with this? Faculty and Staff can login to myDal to find out more and to review and/or download these documents.
- For Information Security best practices, login to myDal. Be savvier online, don't be phished.
- Wireless Access on campus or at other affiliated institutions through Eduroam.
- Office 365 provided free for current students, faculty and staff. Find out how to use and access Office 365, login to myDal for more information.
- DalSafe – Your source for campus alerts and more. Sign up for text alerts in the event of significant campus closures (snow days!)
- Faculty and Staff, do you need a new computer? We encourage you to purchase or lease ITS standard desktops/laptops which comes with ongoing service and support for the life of your computer. Login to myDal for information on Dalhousie Computer Purchases (DCP).
